Cash Crop Hosts Clothing Drive for Homeless

(SAN DIEGO, CALIF.) In an effort to educate San Diegans about poverty in local communities, Cash Crop Clothing will host a clothing drive on Saturday, July 26.

The clothing drive will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CCC’s local office in Midway. All clothing items will be donated to a local non-profit dedicated to serving San Diego’s homeless.

“We chose a local NPO over national or international ones, because we wanted to give San Diegans the chance to reach out to their neighbors. We’ve heard of poverty or homelessness in third world countries, but not as many people know about the poverty that exists within our own city,” CCC President Dan Eger stated.

CCC will give anyone that brings 10 pieces of reusable clothing a CCC shirt specifically made for the event and a 20 percent off coupon for its Web store. Other small CCC tokens of appreciation will be offered at the drive.

CCC was established in Pittsburgh in 1999. The clothing company prides itself in offering reasonably priced urban attire and also sponsors local eco-awareness events. Its office is located at 3644 Midway Drive. For more information, call 1-866-401-6318.
